Is this from a pocket watch?

Mastereagle and I went on a hunt the other night at a lot where and old home used to stand. Mastereagle found a Model T ignition key!! See link:

It wasn't until I got home later and cleaned this tiny piece up that I noticed some writing on it. I believe this may be a pendulum that aides in the winding of a pocket watch. (You know...the kind of pocketwatch with the clear window on the back and this part travels in a circle and helps to keep the watch wound.) What do you all think?

It's the escapement or regulator bridge from a large pocket watch or small carriage clock. It held the jewel for one end of the escape wheel and the tension spring. Tony
