    Bunch o buckles

I seem to find at least one buckle every time I get out detecting. My question is are any of these OLD? I mean older then 1900? Thanks in advance

very possible pre 1900 hard to say for sure --the area where they were found at and its historical useage might help a lot for figgering out their age / use .

Probably not older than 1880, although the top right might be.

They are mostly horse harness related.

The bulk of them were found at a property near me that dates to about 1640. The rest were all dug at revolutionary war sites around me.

I agree with Crusader.  Not much older than 1880's.  I've never found these at sites that fell out of use before the CW.
