Cattlemen's Convention
I'm trying to date and identify this Cattlemen's Convention star. It was found at the location of the Second Ward School here in Dodge City along with these Indians that date from 1883 to 1903. The school dates from the 1880's to the 1920's that I know of. I've found reference to the Cattlemen's Convention being held in Dodge City as early as 1882.
On the back is the name Schwaab S & S Co Milwaukee which research shows is the Schwaab Stamp and Seal company founded in 1881. There is a chain link on the top star like it was part of a ribbon or something. Anyone got any possible dates or ID?

For the most part yes. We are lucky to have very low ground minerals here in southwest Kansas, but we do have problems with all the fertilizers and pesticides that will eat away at targets.
