    Re: New or old?

humm looks like a old british military type item--- humm like I said if found out by the english / spanish trade vessel wreck very early 1800's era time frame --- shaffordshire england was famous for making pottery and during the early 1800's england moved a lot of it in its trade vessels that dealt with spanish florida.--- greenor blue tinted outer ring with scalloped type edges -- and impressed lines --- this type of pearlware are very common early 1800 era pottery shards found on these type of english trade ship wrecks. -- england due to embargos and other problems with the USA ( which finally lead to the war of 1812) ---traded a lot with spanish florida for naval stores and lumber in the early 1800's --- Ivan
