just happen to have a 1971 copy of Long John Latham's "True Treasure" magazine, AND on the inside cover was a White's metal detector ad, (They advertised four different models) then, Goldmaster 66-T was their top of the line, sold for $269.50. Then their Coinmaster #4, Goldmaster 63-TR, and their low end detector was a Goldmaster 3-TR which went for $169.50. All were big cumbersome heavy brutes, that wore your shoulder out in about four hours of swinging. But as cumbersome as they were, someone found a $85,000 Cache in Arkansas with one of them, and Whites had it in every ad they ran for years......
