This coil is a little pricey for even my blood and especially since I don't swing a TDI at the beach. But from my experience in using the Clean Sweep Coil and Bigfoot, the coverage is great for covering lots of sand, but the depth might be about the same at near 7 inches. So it could be OK for recent drops. I would like to get my grubby hands on another Clean Sweep Coil for my Tiger Shark again for searching in the water. I even went so far as thinking of the CSC for the Sand Shark, but that means a pouch full of hairpins.

Funnily enough this is the only Razorback coil that you seem to be able to buy cheaply secondhand in Europe. Which is a little worrying.
Still love my old Bigfoot that has paid for itself year in year out. Hoping to do the same off the wet sand !
Thanks for the reply
