Sorry I Had the 6000 D series 2 not sure of the settings or markings on the Box, can you take a pic of the face ?
does it have Preset markings ?

Ground Balance would maybe be the only setting that takes manual work

if it has both, Hunt in GEB unless on salt water beach, then hunt in TR
TR is non motion (Very slow swings) & not as deep as GEB, GEB is motion

to set ground Balance find clean piece of ground, where you plan to hunt.

turn knob half way while holding detector straight out in front of you.
Slowly Lower coil to ground. If tone rises back off on Ground Balance setting
if tone disappears advance Ground Balance setting. Repeat process till
you don't hear a volume change when lowering the coil to the ground.

at this point your detector is Ground Balanced.

if you have a button on the handle give it a quick push with your thumb , & if you have presets, & they are set,
your ready to go.

When you get a signal, hold your detector over the object & give the button on the handle a quick push.
repeat as necessary till you can judge size of object & location under center of coil.

after digging before starting again, Raise coil push button on handle quickly to reset & start swing again.

etc, etc,

OK I'm going to Guess G.E.B. on this one is All Metal

Turn to Disc.

Turn Discriminate Knob to 6
Run a Nickle by the coil.

If you can hear the nickle run a gold Ring under.
If you can hear them both leave it set at 6, if one or both don't signal try 5
repeat as necessary.

On sensitivity, try 5 if stable try 6, if stable try 7 etc.
If unstable back off.

Remember if there is a Reset button on the handle push it quickly before each time you start hunting again.

& Push it quickly each time you want to pinpoint a target.
