There are naturally many claims for the extra depth of the off brand coils. I have found most of them all hype and a waste of money as they aren't made to last and of poorer materials and quality standards. The manufactures make the best coils for the money as they have your interests at heart. They want you to do well and tell others.

This does not include Coiltech.

I really like the bigfoot coil for my DFX. Lots of coverage 18", pin points off the toe, easy to get into the hole 4" wide. However I don't think it will go deeper than the standard 9" coil.

I have seen the bigfoot coil but I do a lot of woods searching and I was afraid it would be hard on it....

I read a post about manufactures make the best coils???? They have my interest, BUT others don't??? Why make a coil that is crap, many who make coils are people who detect, many make coils with your interest at heart and JUST like the manufacturer, they provide a service to make this hobby better, even coiltek! Everybody looks at making a profit first!!
