How well does the MXT hold up to weather on the beach?

Nothing holds up to salt and moisture at the beach unless it's specifically made for it. Just the salt mist in the air will eat away at all metal. The stuff is brutal, wipe it down the best you can but over time it will take it's toll.

I'm interested in how well the knobs and tuners will hold up when used at the beach.

Just interested in hearing how well their MXTs have held up with beach use.

The MXT has O rings on the POT shafts. That should keep the dust/sand/moisture out. You can check them by pulling the knobs. I had a used MXT 300 - I replaced the rings b/c they were cracked.
