I agree. Plan on buying a new coil or you might get lucky and Whites will replace it for free.

I've had that a few times when my coil went bad, if you can get it for a good price and only have to replace the coil that would be great. Just remember your also going to be out the cost of the coil when making offer for the MXTpro. HH

the coil will over load if it is cracked
at lest mine did give it a squeeze it should clap's and re-x-span
my 8by14 cracked no cover you could squeeze the air out of it...
moister is funny

What's an "over load" problem? When I put my MXT to close to targets it screams overload? Does yours do it all the time?

What's an "over load" problem? When I put my MXT to close to targets it screams overload? Does yours do it all the time?

It should only overload on a large target like iron or an aluminum can on top of the ground,etc. when coils go bad they become very sensitive to overload until they eventually overload all the time.
