Great find! Coins in the 60's must be like fresh drops in the places you get to hunt. :)

A cache doesn't have to be a huge hoard of treasure to be a cache. A cache can be one gold coin buried in a tin can. A cache Simply means to hide something temporarily.

Holy crap !!!
Forget the metal detecting, You guys should be making Movies.
Very artistic. I would suggest that you aquire better mounting hardware (for the steadiness and less shaking), but something tells me that the bouncing was purposely contrived for realism.
Very artistic, very well done
PS How did you get that initial Aerial POV?
Do you have a drone?

Just had to let you know SilverSlinger - In the movie, a beautiful girl says she is Austrian and the "dumb" guy says - Ahh, How about a shrimp on the Barbie!!! So, it worked perfect in this case!!!!
Take Care and Good Luck!!!!

I have to say, I was super excited when he pulled that bag out and I heard that "ting" of coins. Now, the investigator in me comes out....what in the world is the back story to this cache. It's a cool find don't get me wrong, but why bury 11 half dollars. They're not worth much, even the melt value is only about $45. Talk about a cliff hanger...HH!
