Took the MXT Tracker E out to a local salt water beach to test in wet sand. After some research I decided to use the Whites DD 6X10 coil and set the machine on Coin/Jewelry in Salt mode. I was very surprised how quickly it balanced to the wet sand and shallow water. There was an occasional growl when a wave splashed over the coil but nothing major. I found a dime at about six to seven inches. It was a good solid "no doubt" hit. Also got some shallow clad on the wet and dry sand. The knife was in the wet sand at the South end of the beach. Overall a very successful test.

It's really hard to say anything bad about the MXT for sure, you get a high end detector that's built like a tank for a mid level detector price. HH
