Vintage White's Detectors

As a 'teen in the '70's, with a Coinmaster 1, I was fascinated reading White's old Discover magazine with all the (then) high-end Goldmasters and such that were way out of my reach. Today these look ancient, but the look of these old beasts bring back good memories.

Here is one on Ebay....

If I had more space I would probably collect a few just for fun.

Anybody else have vintage detectors on display?

Re: Vintage White's Detectors

I have an older White's Coinmaster 3000D...or something like that. Haven't used it in years. Had a lot of problems with disc on it after I tried modifying the cable to use the coil underwater. (deep water) Think I accidentally got the box wet.

Bought a 6000 Di Series 2 a couple years ago after making the mistake of selling my 6000Di pro I had for quite a few years.

I bought a DfX last year but couldn't resist buying another 6000DI Pro on Ebay the other day. 3 coils to boot!

I just like whites and I think the 6000 pro kicked butt.
