    mabe dumb question.

I have an older bounty hunter IV Ive just begun to use it other than at the beach on vacation and I'm enjoying it greatly. Now, the wife is getting me a prism IV for Xmas (i think) IS the difference night and day?? I'm getting good at the tone iding on the tracker (usually can tell scrap, but I still dig) and pin pointing but what i really want more of is the depth. The other perks are a bonus. What Im asking is will i be much happier with a prisimIV than the trackerIV? and is the depth better on the prisim?? thanks

My first answer would be to see if White's sells a larger coil for the IV. I wouldn't fool with any coils that aren't OEM or from Jimmy Sierra, but thats just my point of view.

It might be more important to send a PM here to hogge, who found the 2nd item from the left on the Banner with a Prizm IV. I'd ask him how he works, and do exactly the same. He's hit the Banner *twice* this season with Prizm IV finds.

    Good hunting!

The Prism V is a very good detector but with limited coil choices. I am not sure what the budget is but if she is paying retail for the Prism, you may be able to step up one more and get the M6. Great coil selections, tone ID and be can be had new for 594.95

    Just a thought
