    Re: excellerator coil question

I have an Excellerator coil that is slightly smaller and it kills my shoulder after a few hours. I can only imagine how much that 18" coil weighs. Take that into consideration before you purchase.

    Re: excellerator coil question

I have used the small size for many years on my DFX and it works wonderfull. My only drawback is the suns glare off the golden label on the top.I haven't tried larger loops on this brand because I find it not to my liking and unconfortable to carry. I am sold on two of my loops the 5.3 eclipse and the baby excelarator coil for all my expeditions and beach hunts.
