DFX Coil differences

On my 1st DFX bought a few years back it came with a Multi-harmonic 9.5 Wide band coil and the new one I got this year came with a 950 Eclipse coil, I was wondering what the difference in these two coils is and what the pro and con's of eather are. thanks Don

I never knew there was a different 9.5" coil for the DFX?

Other than the shape is a little different (rounded at the edges) I don't think there is any difference.

yes there were two coils, but no there wasnt a difference. I noticed this a few years back while looking at the coils on the whites site. Also i hunted with a guy that had a different coil than mine to include the sitcker. I called and they said there wasnt a difference.

It is nice to know that there really is no difference in the coils and to me they do about the same job when at work. I wonder why Whites started to call there coils Eclipse coils like this 9.5 and the 5.3 coils when that word sounds so much like Elliptical that we all know means Oval shaped with the length being at least twice as long as the width?? Just a thought.

We couldn't imagine the time and effort that goes into Research & Development of even choosing a color for the coils and controls. Adding a sticker here or there and they have made us think we need the newer and better one. It is hard enough to keep up with all the changes and I think I am falling behind..........

I just hope nobody comes out with a pink detector.

sometimes white's just does that. The local dealer told me not much difference in the Whites DFX and the Whites DFX 300.
