ML, the IDX Pro is a very nice mid priced detector. Expect about 5 to 7 inches on a dime. No tone ID on this detector. A clean used one goes for about 250.00. Mr bills mods are 100.00, which includes return shipping. I have one with the mods and I found the depth increased about two inches which makes the dime depth to be about 8 or 9 inches. I hunt very mineralized soil and the ground balance mod that Mr. bill does helps make the Pro very stable. I see you currently have one listed on your profile. If you do have one, I highly recommend having the mods done. R.L.
