Whites Surfmaster II

Have anyone used the Surfmaster II? What do you think of it? Been thinking about getting a different water detector and was looking at the Whites.....Matt

Get a Tesoro Tiger Shark....lifetime warranty and newer machine. Whites has no surfmaster II parts....sent mine in for new boots and they couldn't do it. Had to have new coil; new box; and new headhones. Cost me nearly 270 bucks. If someone GIVES you a surfmaster...then it would be worth the refit. It IS a great machine; works great; and airtests a quarter at a foot....just my 2 cents. I would go with a newer machine; no matter what....just for the serviceability aspect.

I have owed a Surf Master II for 17 or so years this machine has paid for itself many times over with no problems. It is not a great machine for saltwater but mine has been a dry sand killer..... I bought a Garrett LS Infinium and only after 9 months had to ship it back for repairs....
