experiment....will I mess something up?

I was looking at new coils the other day for my DFX, and was looking into the Excelerator coils since I have one for my garrett ace250 already and really like it. I have the 10x14 eliptical double D EQ2 which they make for both the DFX and the ACE250, and that's when I noticed that the part #'s are the same except the ad "GA" for the ACE and "W" for the Whites brands. So I was just curious then if I could use the 1 that I have on the DFX then, I'd hate to try without knowing and screw something up!!! So does anyone know for sure if this would work or not?
