Has anyone used a GMT to trace black sand deposits?

If so, how did you go, is this a practical way to search for fine gold deposits in black sand?

This would be very tedious to do as black sand can be heavily concentrated or light. But the GMT will do it.

The black sand tracking function reads the concentration of black sand I believe.

Flagold is a poster on youtube that has a video on just that. He tells you where the gold will be by tracing the black sand. He is using a GMT. I watch all his videos and have learned a lot. I think this is the video you need?

Actualy, that was the video that prompted me to do research on the GMT. There's not much else being said about the black sand function though. Strange.

The MXT does the same. You use the % of iron readout to locate the heavily concentrated iron content in the black sands. You will see the streaks. With practice, you will know where the heavier concentrates are without the use of a detector.
