    MXT and the beach question

    If I use my MXT on the beach can the coil get wet? Thanks for the info

    All of the coils are waterproof, however, you must be careful not to get the electronics ( black box & display ) wet. Even fresh water will ruin it. That means that when you lift the coil out of the water don't raise it higher than your hand or the water can run down the shaft and ruin your day.

    Very true.....Also good idea to smear some silicone sealant around the coil cable where it goes in the coil just for insurance.
