What happened to the Big Foot?

I am a fan of the 3 x 18 searchcoil, only available with Tesoro Detectors. Some years back I know that Whites made one also called the "big foot". Also, are there any other manufacturers of this product?

Ringman, White's never made them. They were made by a one man shop and the guy died a few years back and I believe "Jimmy Sierra Products" bought the rights to it. Good luck

I have never use the Bigfoot on a Whites, but enjoyed the heck out of it on Tesoro's detectors. However they don't make the Clean Sweep Coil for the Tiger Shark anymore. Darn.......

I have a big foot coil and it works great. covers large areas with ease - parks, school grounds - quickly. pin pointing is a breeze. I can usually put my hand held pinpointer dead on target the first time. paid $250 for mine, another detector told me they were selling for $600 on the internet and asked me if i wanted to sell it. No way!
