Proper way to ground balance DFX?

Okay, the manual is not specific, and I have a question. When ground balancing, the coil is brought to waist level. Waist level with coil horizontal to ground, or is the detector held out horizontally with the coil vertical? Or, does it really matter? I have posted this question before, and believe it or not, have never received a straight answer. Thanks for any replies. ffd

Yes, Spooky nailed it. So long as the coil is not near any metals when you are holding it waist high that part is fine. When you lower it the coil should be level with the ground and not tipped one way or the other.
