I like the shape, my opinion is you cover the ground more uniformly.

Someone already posted the link to them, so wont do that but will say, yes, they are worth the money. First, you are able to cover alot of ground in a short time. Its a light coil for its coverage size so makes it easy to swing. And it does a pretty good job of detecting. Its a good all around coil. Does it do everything? No, nor does any coil. But it does do well at covering alot of ground and it does a good job of finding whats in that ground. I own one and wont go anywhere without it and my DFX. Do I use other coils as well, of course. But it is a good coil and well worth the price. And yea, the only way you can get it is by putting your name on their waiting list. It can take 1 month, or 3 months. But make sure you got the bucks set aside when they call you from the list. And make sure the number you leave is one that you know you wil answer during the day. Cause if they call to see if you want it and you dont answer, or you dont have the bucks at that time, you go back to the bottom and they all the next guy on the list.

And finding a used one? Good luck...about the only way is if someone is selling his DFX and all his coils. Otherwise...few folks will sell their bigfoot..so they are rare finding used.
