whats the opinion on IDX pro?

Here's what i found with a idx pro.i just got a xlt but keep going back to the idx pro.if you need any more pics of additional items found let me know,i have found several hundred great items with it,and a great history in your area helps also..

I like mine so much that I bought another....couldnt stand to be without it.
Im going to fit one with a 12" coil ....once that is done, Ill have all that I could ask for.

I hunted with my IDX Pro over the last 4 or so years, and I have learned it in & out... and I'll never get rid of that machine! I wouldn't even mind getting another at some point. Right now, my IDX Pro is now my backup machine, as I've just purchased an Explorer XS... which is probably going to take some time to learn. But I would highly recommend the IDX Pro!! It is a GREAT machine to either start out with or upgrade from a cheaper machine.

Well I can only get down to where the target is... whether it's three inches or twelve. I probably averaged around 6 to 8 inches on most items, some at 12... and I've had a few targets down around 15 inches. I always use my stock 950 coil, though I do have the 1500 coil, but I've only used it a couple of times. The 950 coil always served me well in about every area I hunted, even in trashy areas where I could've used the 350 coil....

I used an IDXpro untill getting my MXT. IMO the IDXpro is a great detector. Served me well. Here is a guy that knows his prestty well.
