Must have book "The MXT Edge"

I just got the book a few weeks ago.
Oh boy,,, a WORLD of info.
    Tips,Techniques etc.
I read it nightly, over and over, to try to get some of it to sink in .
It REALLY does explain the MXT's Full potential.
    Its by Jeff Foster,
he did tests with all the availiable coils,
in all modes, in varying soil conditions.
Kinda hard to remember it all, but it sure does help,
Try the book, you will be happy you did.
    Good Luck Hunting.

Couldn't agree more Dusty. The section (pp. 28-29) on proper ground balancing and verifying stability took my detecting to a completely new level. I was handicapping myself before by blindly setting the machine up like I THOUGHT was right. The confidence you get from KNOWING that you are maximizing your detector/coils ability in any situation is what were all after. This book will give you that.

How come every time I press #1 for English, I still can't understand the person on the other end of the line?

    Thanks for reminding me.
I bought this book when I was in Sweet Home at the Whites factory.
They were so nice and helpful there.
Now I have to re-read it and catch up on what I have forgotten.
