    Sunray Probe question (Problem)

I have a sunray probe on my DFX. I pulled the thing out for the firsttime this year and with the probe attached, the machine would not ground balance. When I disconnected the probe the machine ground balanced just fine. I had the 6 X 10 attached. My batteries were just fresh off the charger. Any ideas, help?

make sure your DX-1 box is flipped over to coil and not probe before you ground balance.......

This was my first thought too. Or you could be getting some feed through the probe as the switch isn't working 100%.

That was the first thing I checked and it was on coil. I tried it in my yard and worked fine. Just not the neighbors. Probably interference.

I actually didnt do anything to it. It wouldnt work in my neighbors yard but worked in mine. As far as I know we have the same electrical lines around. We live 30 feet apart. Either way got an 1875 IH out of her yard.

I hit one side of the street and my DFX numbers were all over the place....crossed the street, perfect signals no interference. Buried cable?
