    coin master pro(prizm iv) questions

have had the pro for about a month. have done many old homes and foundations. thus far have found lots of clad some wheats and neat relics. the problem i am having is no silver. this is hard to believe. what am i missing or not looking for?? i did find a small part of an ear ring or necklace which looks silver. but thats it. so hoe are the prizm iv users finding the silver?

cant find it if it isnt there.... and the Coinmaster pro i.e old prizm iv will not give you the depth and sensitivity to go very deep..... one of those things that you get what you pay for.... you will find things.... but not depper older things

    Heh,

Don't feel bad it took me 1 year $1000 and two machines to find silver. I did upgrade to a MXT from a Bounty Hunter before I found silver. So I'd say keep looking you'll find it.

    You may have mineralized ground

I had the Coinmaster & it IDed a quarter accurately to 10.5" in air test but when I buried a dime 3" deep the ID was zinc/dime/quarter & occasionally something else. Silent on 6" deep dime. HH, George (MN)

best depth you can get on a prizm/coinmaster for a coin is about 4" range for most things

Re: coin master pro(prizm iv) questions

I used a II and now have a prism IV . I do not have a problem finding silver . and have been finding lately at some deep depths . Like 6-8 inches . U must learn what the detector is telling you . My sugestion is to find or go to a place you have or a friend has found silver. Use all metal mode and devote 4 hrs of straight digging it all from foil on up . Pay attention to when your LED flashes into 10/25/50 area . try to lock that signal and see what that does for you . I have found 18 silvers this year at those hunted out parks . the only differance is now I know when my detector is reading Silver . Most people will not dedicate time to learn the language . Then ***** when they can not find silver . learn what your detector is telling you . all the silver exceot 2 have been at 6" or better . love t5he prism series . just learn the what it is telling you . good luck let me know how you make out.
