Need help on the Sunray Probe w/ the MXT ??

Hello,

I'm upset with my Sunray Pinpointer with my MXT and I'm seeking some helpful guidance from a helpful and kind forum.

Here is the problem It dose not want to find the trash items. It wants to discriminate, seems even with the Disc. down it still wants to discriminate. If I turn the Disc. all the way down then it just won't shut up and can't find targets either way. However if you have a good target it bangs loud and you can find it.

If anyone has any ideas what I Can do or make it work a little better please tell.

How long have you been using the DX1? Mine has never had that issue in the 2 years Iv'e used it, If my MXT gives a signal, so des my DX1. When you pull the pinpoint trigger you can zero right in on the target no matter how small.
I think yours has an issue.

I've had it about 2 years too. When I have a good signal it can find it but.. Like I said if it is a trashy item and is anywhere in the disc. range it discriminates it and can't find it.

sounds like the same issue my brother had and found out it was the probe that went bad, just give Ralph a call and hell take care of ya......
