    I like the VCO pinpoint feature option and it is dead center. As for depth, on most coins it is about equal to the dia of the coil. Of course the type of ground you hunt has a bearing on depth as does moisture and settings. Might also be the use of your lucky socks.

    The round coils where right on for me both the stock concentric, and DD's 5. 6, 8 and 10 inch. The 10 x 14 coil seemed to pinpoint a little outside of center to the right in dry conditions and did a little better after a good rain. Art
    Its a small world until you have to walk somewhere.

    I've got VCO on and use the D2 (double-d) coil. It seems to pinpoint in the center.
