    Will prices come down towards christmas?

    LOL on that one! But, it's sort of like prices coming down as they are spending more money and we are spending the same.

    I do wonder if we will see any new high end detectors from the competition. IMO the V3i and E-Trac still are tops with the Deus being there too in Europe. I wonder what Fisher/Tecknetics will do as well as a new E-Trac (nice rumors)...

    Many mfrs on at least some models add freebies for a Christmas package. Sometimes it's a second coil free that might normally be over $100, or a discount on accessories.
    Maybe a free pinpointer. They should have the info on websites & people on forums will probably mention it, too. The specials might start October or November & last until Christmas or longer, as some dealers stock up when there's a good bonus.

    It is possible a mfr could even consider a discount for a detector if it is being discontinued or is selling rather poorly. Possibly it could happen even on a just introduced detector if it was really great & they wanted more to find that out quickly to help them spread the word. Best wishes, George (MN)
