    classic ll

    hello,all you white's fans

need to no what frequency a classic ll runs at,or will the blue max deep scan 950 Lupe work on it, or doe's it need a 4bd,like the classic l.and is it a "non motion
" when the switch is locked, the classic ll has a frequency adjust on it.
I would like to put my maximum 1500 on it.I'm thinking on modding out a classic ,either a,classic ll or lll for the mine rock pile here in the U.P.hip mount the thing and shorten the handle so I can hang it on me so when I dig I don't have to worry about.
    1. it falling down the mine rock pile, witch are dam near vertical.
    2. put the detector down four feet from you so when you dig you don't crush the damn thing
3.keep it warm and dry under my jacket or rain poncho.
    any info would be nice.

    Re: classic ll

well I bought the classic ll on eBay for 67.66 it's the three battery one. 6db hard wired coil. it can air test 6 .5 inches on a penny and about 8 inches on a quarter, and a little over 2 feet on a 12 inch cast iron skillet.nice sounding detector good strong beep.pretty slow sweep speed too,or you can swing it fast.light as a feather.found a lot of copper with it all ready.works like a champ. ........white's detectors second to none........
