    DFX vs V3i in versatility

Is the V3i just as versatile (rugged all arounder) as the DFX? I understand the advantages just that one questionM

Thanks Willie I am really impressed with it as a "survey machine"...I can go in and figure out what I;m dealing with, pull some nice finds and then finesse it with the deeper settings or a deeper machine if need be...if the V3i is as you say deeper and better than the DFX yet still rugged enough for different applications that would save a step.
