Whites Using Minelab Patents

I guess it pays to surf some of the other forums on this website, I just found out that my Whites Beach Hunter ID is using a Minelab patent for some of it's technology.

I checked my unit and sure enough it has one of Minelabs patents. I never knew this.

It happens all the time. That is why it isn't so important to get upset about some guy saying his detector is better than yours. Auto manufactures do it too.

WHITES is an Awsome Company just Like Minelab.

If they felt using some of Minelabs Technology would
Improve the Performance, or Visa-Versa, why not ?

nothing to be surprised about. it happens all the time in all kinds of manufacturing. i work for a company that manufactures professional loudspeaker systems. we routinely buy and dissect the competitors cabinets to see what the other guy is up to. we call it "reverse engineering".
