PRIZM II

I HAVE A PRIZM II AND WAS WONDERING DO THE HEADPHONES MAKE MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE. I WOULD ALSO APPRECIATE ANY TIPS ON HUNTING WITH IT THAT CAN COME IN HANDY. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

Using headphones will double your battery life while detecting. Also headphones will give you more privacy and won't disturb others that may be around you and you may hear deeper targets better (that short clip sound). A slow sweep (2 to 3 sec left to right) will give good results and depth. Other than that, get out there and dig everything to get to know your detector.

Ok...I was dead set against a headset...because I hunt alone and in the woods alot and thought I wouldnt be able to hear if someone came around me....but then I recieved a pair of Koss headphones and I cannot tell you the difference it made in my hunting.I hear everthing around me ,but now pick up the deeper signals...Love them ...Plus ...they really keep my ears warm!
