Bought a new XLT yesterday - Has anyone used "JB's web page programs"

I could not decide if I wanted the DFX or XLT until yesterday, was offered a good deal
on the XLT so I bought it.

Has anyone used any of the programs from JB's web page, if so which ones did you like.
I will be building programs for gulf coast beaches and one for inland coin hunting sites.

Also saw there was a setting for the bigfoot coil (turn setting on for full use of the coil)
Has any one used a bigfoot coil with a XLT at salt water beaches?

Also has anyone had any luck with light weight headphones, I have a good set but would have to get a 1/4 inch adapter plug.

Trying to not ask to many question, the XLT is very similar to the Eagle spectrum I have been using for past 15 years, but hoping to learn all the advantages of better programming.

I have a test bed in my back yard, will let you know how it does once I get a good program built.

Haven't tried JB's but here's one I use (slightly modified) and have found to be very good for coins

I picked up a set of Sony MDR-V150 at Wally World for around $20. and I'm very happy with them. Easy on the ears and a 6' cord.

Thanks for the link ... I will compare it to some of the ones I have been looking at.

I forgot to post the link to JB's web page, has a lot of XLT and other whites information if anyone is interested.

Thats right Tom give them a try. What works for me might not work as well for you. I put 4 different programs in mine from that site and have tried them all but the pre amp is the best for me right now. Good luck keep me posted if you get a good one as I will do the same for you if I get another good program. I'l take the rain anyday we got more snow coming. So much for spring, Good luck
