    WHITES SILVER EAGLE?

IS THIS DETECTOR ANY GOOD? IS IT COMPARABLE TO THE SPECTRUM? ANY THOUGHTS OR ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

    THANK YOU

This was an excellent detector in its time. The Spectrum XLT was the next generation and still is sold as the E series.

    Re: WHITES SILVER EAGLE?

The Silver Eagle was 2nd in line to, I believe, the Eagle Spectrum. The big difference was the programming, the Silver Eagle didn't have the ability to save programs. I have hunted with the Silver Eagle since the early 90s with one that I purchased new. The detector has always been reliable. I have the 9.5 in, 8 in and 12 in Hot Head coils for it. Still enjoy hunting with it any time I get a chance.

I almost bought a Silver Eagle on EBay but it went to high for me.
it looked like a good detector.
I downloaded the instructions from white's and would still like to get a hold of one one day
