    M6 Headphones

    Hello to all,
New guy here and I sure do like your forums, lots of info.
Is there a set of headphones out there that's worth the $$$'s for my new M6
I'll be doing beaches and parks.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much

    Re: M6 Headphones

When I got my M6, I purchased a fairly cheap set of headphones, I'd tell you the brand, but they're out in the truck! I think they were around $20.

A few months later, I won a set of Garret's top of the line headphones. The sound quality is MUCH better!

Whenever I get some spare $$$, I'm planning to get a set of RAT phones. My advice, is spend the $$$ on a premium set, you'll wind up there eventually, and why buy 2-3 progressivly more expensive sets along the way?

Look at the Killer B's or Grey Ghost headphones. These are made by treasure hunters for treasure hunters. Also the SUnray Gold Pro headphones are an excellent choice.Let me know if you need any more info or check my site.

The Rat phones are an excellent choice. I just picked up a pair and they sound fantastic on my MXT.

Grey Ghost, Sunray Pro Gold, Killer B's, Ratphones.

Before I got my Ratphones I researched these as they are considered the best. All use quality componets but not identical componets. Haven't used all of these so I am not qualified to give a review on them and any of them would be a quality pair. The Rats seem to have it all the best so I chose them.

Thanks to all for your input I ended up with the SunRay Pro's.
I did try allthe ones suggested.
The SunRays have excellent sound cancellation, with a flip of the switch, and MORE than enough volume. I might add you need the sound cancellation when your on a target for Xing or you'll think your in a war zone.
    On my M6: Perfect
They have a very good fit for me around the ears and they are leather instead of plastic on the ear cups. I do know that in time, plastic can dry out and crack from your body acids when you sweat.
Well,... that's my take...and again to all, Thank You
