    MXT price

What would be a good price to pay for the MXT, I see it list for 799, but I know that does not mean much........How do you owners like it Please chime in, and tell me about your thoughts on this machine....I mainly coin shoot, and a little Beach hunting.....Might do relic someday..(maybe)...No gold hunting....Thanks for any thoughts on this subject.....Money really means alot to me.(I know it does to everyone) Have never considered spending this much until now, but I saw one at the Treasure shop in Texas City, and really liked it.....Tom

The MXT is a fine detector for the money and in my book underrated. If you like to look at id screens before you dig, you will like it.

    Re: MXT price

I paid 799 for mine almost five years ago. It was relatively new then and had allot of hype at the time. It also came with some extras. Coil, digger & bag.
There have certainly been numerous good detectors out since then but I have yet to try one that would make me even consider giving it up. The hype is long over and the fact they are still so popular is because they have prov-en themselves in the field. In my opinion 800 bucks for a new one is still a good deal. I don't know what dealers pay for coils but if you decide on the MXT I would try to make a deal for a small shooter coil along with the MXT.

Have they made any changes to them in the last five years, or so....

What is the smallest coil available for the MXT I have read good things about them..Seeing Sandmans nod of approval on them makes me feel better also...Any more thoughts guys (and gals)...Thanks To all, Tom
