First MD, Whites Prizm or Tesoro Silver uMax ?????

I am very new to the hobby and am looking for a good first detector. I have done quite a bit of research on the web and have found that I like Tesoro for their warranty, quality of product and the fact that it is right here in Arizona. I also like the Whites Prizm for the TID and they seem to be a quality MD as well. I have come to value all of the information I have collected on here. So, does anybody have any words of wisdom?
