wondering how the Eclipse Deepscan DD 1400 is on the DFX as a coin/relic coil

    Hello everybody,

    hope everyone is doing well.
I own a DFX and am looking to buy a new coil for coin/relic hunting and was wondering how the Eclipse Deepscan DD 1400 works.
any feedback on this subject would be greatly appreciated
    thank you all very much,
    Mike

it works very well I have one for mine. The only problem I have with it is it's weight. It is much heavier than a standard coil and is like swinging a football on the end of a stick. A all day hunt with it is a chore

The 1400 does work great but is on the heavier side. It is a DD type coil so it should have the advantage in highly mineralized soil. The Super 12 only weights 3 oz more than the stock coil. It is a concentric type coil and requires a little "tighter" swing pattern to make sure you don't miss things.
