DFX Vs SE

[Master Sarge]

Fellow DFX Users, is there a big difference in the two machines? I just upgraded to the DFX from a Prizm V just a week ago. I was also looking at the SE to purchase but I decided to go with the DFX because I had very good luck with the Prizm V and the White's name. I hear that the DFX is the best and deepest machine out on the market today, then you hear the same with the Mine Lab SE. Do not get me wrong, I love my DFX and I am not going to trade it in for the SE, but I am just very curious about the difference of the two. Any feedback would be great!!!

Thanks VP, good post. I see DFX Gregg did break down and get a SE. A am fairly new to the hobby and was just currious. After I read your post and all the comments I would have not even asked that question, seems to be a touchy subject. But anyway thanks for your honest feedback!!!

And after hunting with people using both of these, I wouldn't give up my MXT for either one!
Not because the MXT is better but I have no patience for learing them and while they are messing around with programs, i'm digging.

LOL - touchy ain't the word for it - that was my first post on TNET and boy did i open a can of worms !!!!

i loved my DFX (man i miss that trigger!) and i love the SE both are incredible machines and anyone would be lucky with either !
