Should I buy an 6 year old Classic ll ?

Hello I have a chance to buy an 6 year old Whites Classic 2 for $85. Is this a good deal?

    Thanks

If it's a Classic 2 SL then it's a pretty good deal! Plus all the 6.59 kHz coils fit it!

At that price it is a good deal providing you learn the limitations of the detector.

I've swung a Classic III for 6 years. Easy to learn and well balanced. Set the discrimination, if the signal's clean in 2 directions, dig.

For that price yes. If you ever decide to upgrade you can always keep it for back up or for friend that might want to join you for a hunt.
