    Quantum QXT Acting up

I just got a new to me Quantum QXT, and it seems to be a bit squirly.

Sometimes it will shutoff for no reason, and then not turn on. Have to remove the battery pack, and then it will turn on again.
Also it seems to beep randomly for things i have tried to discriminate out, such as low or high iron, (other times totally random)
I've tried re-groundbalancing, and lowering the sensitiivity, doesn;t seem to help.

Any thought? Should I send it off to whites to be serviced? How much do they charge?

    Thanks

    Phil

I don't know how much White's charges for service but it's probably worth it to get a working detector.

Give them a call at (541) 367-6121. They'll tell you where to send it & how much it'll cost approximately.
