    Whites MXT UPDATE

.....The guy i sold the ..MXT.. to said his wife was mad as he.. at him so i took it back.....I can't loose on it for i only paid $300.00 plus tax for it at a pawn shop. But it did come with a book i never knew that was out for the..MXT..called...The MXT Edge...by Jeff Foster. So i will read the book and give the MXT a chance who knows i might like it. The detector did not have a instruction manual with it but it did have that book MXT Edge...So i called Whites today and told them i needed a instruction manaul for it.... ..And they said they would send me one at no cost to me.....I like that........ ..Now i will have a cup of coffee

If you don't want to wait for the snail mail you can download a manual from whiteselectronics.com. I have a downloaded manual I keep in the car for both the DFX & XLT for reference without having to turn my original manuals into confetti.

Although it's not an issue with the MXT but the manuals for my machines have the original factory programs found in the custom programs slots & it's always good to refer back to them on occasion.

Have fun with the MXT & I hope you find lots of neat things with it.

Jeff Foster's books are really great! They go into a lot more detail than the owner's manual.

    Still waitin' for that song.

.....Sarge....as you know I have the book ..MXT Edge..And the manual for the MXT came the other day i sort of like the detector it is just about a turn on and go detector . Well it is a turn on and go detector flip a few switches and turn a few knobs and you are ready to go. I like to flip switches and turn knobs better than the push the button type of detector that is probabilty why i like it.......look at what detectors i have almost all are flip & turn detectors..

    Re: Whites MXT UPDATE

I've been pushing buttons so long that I don't know if I remember how to turn a knob anymore.

Used the old dial phone in my buddy's garage the other day & by the time I went through all the numbers I forgot what I wanted to say or even who I was calling! It couldn't have been a senior moment, could it?
