Difference between M6 and MXT VID?

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the VID on the M6 and the MXT? Trying to deciede between the two. Just for coin and jewelery hunting. I don't prospect or relic hunt. Any other info between the two detectors would also be helpful. Thanks.

The tone ID on the M6 is great for coin and jewelry hunting. It sure beats having to look at the screen on every target.

Re: Difference between M6 and MXT VID?

i just got my m6 the other day in the mail from kellyco. although im just learning it, it seems to be a pretty darn good machine. and the tone i.d. is a plus. no need to look at the screen. first day out with it got me some clad. pretty accurarate at depth and pinpointing also. although whites sells them for 699.00, i went with kellyco. for a hundred dollars cheaper and got extra stuff with it. where as whites only sells the machine and thats it.............go to kellyco and click on the "live chat" box and ask questions to the associate who sells them. they might help you in your decision...........plus i got the automax v4 pinpointer (comes with purchase).....its huge.......its like a mini sword...lol about 3 times the lenght of a bullseye 2 pinpointer.......but it is pretty accurate also when poking in a hole to see where target is. hope this helps....mark43

The M6 is what you want. Super deep and super easy to use. With the 7tone ID you know what is there without looking at the screen. Then use your VDI and target ID to further help you decide it you want ot dig or not.

I guess I'm late here...but yeah, get the M6. I decided on the M6 over the MXT because I didn't need the relic mode, and also I much prefer the 7-tones on the M6. It was the best upgrade I've ever made and don't plan on upgrading again any time soon.
