Prizm 9.5 coil, what's wrong?

I purchesd a Whites Prizm IV about 2 months ago. I also ordered the 9.5 coil as an extra with the standard 8" coil. At first both coils worked fine, but as of a few weeks ago, the large coil made my detector go all "squirrely" . The 8" coil works fine so I dont think my detector is the problem. I checked the cable and can't find any cuts or anything. I have never had it in water. What's up? Any ideas?

Call Whites and have them run a few tests... Sounds like you bought new....if so and there is a problem they will replace good luck!

make sue you got the correct coil for your frequency. then send it in the factory will fix or replace it.
