Ever hear of this unusual White's detector ?

Saw this oddball on Ebay. Must be an early BFO I'm guessing, maybe late 60's. Never heard of it before....

More than likely a BFO or early TR. Almost sounds like it's a detector made for kids. The picture wasn't there anymore so I didn't gert to see what it looks like.

My son-in-law has an old White's TR. No Disc but doggone the thing worked good. It's the first detector I ever used just before I bought my 4900D.

Yeah, it's a late 60's or early 70's BFO entry-level unit. The Little Pirate was a White's trademark back then.

The pictures should come up for three months in Ebay.

I snagged one here in case you can't view them...

With those plugs coming out the back, it looks like something I could get a shock from...Would be just my luck..

Perhaps that is how it indicates metal. No audio, just an electric shock between the ears each time something is found.
