A good person to talk to is TerryC. He lives down there. Permit, only if you want to get on state owned land. Then you need to go to the Department of Natural Resources field office.

Hope this helps.

Hey all, I am going to be in the Milwaukee area for work within the next couple of months, and was wondering if there are any good spots to hunt.....and also is a permit required?
Thanks,
Baggins
Baggins,
All county property in Milwaukee (Co.) is open. LOTS of County parks. If you hunt west of 124th St., that is Waukesha County. A free permit is required on that county's property. Two counties north and northwest of Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Dodge, are also open. I don't go south into Racine county so cannot comment there. Milwaukee County is famous for its Park system. Unless you can connect with an old farmer's property, you will have ample parks to hunt. Enjoy. TTC

Baggins, Milwaukee parks people also prefer that you hunt with a screw driver as a probe and digging tool. Be sure to get lots of pictures to share! Where will you be staying? In Milwaukee there are parks everywhere, so you will not have to go far to hunt.
