One briefly mentioned by Terry. Supposedly the mine was in the eastern big horns if I remember correctly.

Further research might turn up more articles with other details, I think there was a mention of a map the Mexicans had that disappeared.

Oddly Terry had this mentioned in the Big Horns and in Albany County Wyoming?

There was one Wyoming paper that carried a larger version of the story that I was able to locate. The location of the mine and dead bodies was north of Cheyenne and claims in northern Wyoming. This vague direction puts Terry correct for Sheridan region, so his reference to Medicine Bows can be tossed out as far as I am concerned. We still have one or two small clues in the article I found. The region had a mine called the San Salvador close by. The folks working that mine are thought to have killed the Mexicans and taken the chart.
